He's trying

Again and again, I keep on trying to hammer out there that it's not what the president accomplishes it's how.  People keep on forgetting that the founders intended for Congress to handle what the country accomplishes (or doesn't accomplish for that matter).

Here's President Obama's letter to Congress concerning healthcare reform and on his openness to key Republican ideas in crafting and shaping the bill.

  1. "People keep on forgetting that the founders intended for Congress to handle what the country accomplishes (or doesn't accomplish for that matter)."

I don't know what your other legions of readers think, but I do not believe this is a complete thought or makes any sense for that matter.

In order to attempt to be an authority amongst your peers when it comes to politics, you must first master your only tool, the english language.

  2. The first part of the sentence is the actual thought, "People forget that the founders intended for Congress to handle what the country accomplishes." And then a slight joke which could be done with a long dash -- or parentheses"or doesn't accomplish for that matter. Because Congress sometimes has trouble DOING things -- because it was designed that way. That's all. I'm sorry for my transgression against the King's English.
